GENERAL INFORMATION:

Weather and Temperatures; Fall temperatures range from anywhere in the high 70s during the day to 5 degrees below zero at night. Be prepared for many types of weather.

Airlines; There is an airport eight miles north of Jackson, Wyoming. Most major airlines have flights in and out of Jackson several times daily. Check with the airline about proper handling of firearms. In most cases a hard gun case with lock is required, and extra time is necessary at the baggage check-in.

Taxis and Car Rental; Taxi Service is available to and from the airport. If you prefer having a vehicle, you can rent from one of several car rental agencies.

Motel Reservations; You may need room reservations for the nights prior to and following your hunt. We recommend the Antler Motel (307) 733-2535.

Meals on Days In and Out; Breakfast on the morning we pack in will be your responsibility. We will provide you with a trail lunch and dinner at camp. On the day we pack out, we provide breakfast and a trail lunch, dinner will be your
responsibility.

Alcoholic Beverages and Soda Pop; You are welcome to bring these items as we do not provide them. Please keep these items separate from your gear, so we can pack them properly.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Rifles; When choosing a rifle to bring, use one you are comfortable with. You
should be able to shoot off-hand as well as from a rest. We recommend sighting your rifle in at 2 1/2" high at 100 yards.

Deposits; Personal checks are accepted for the deposit amount only. The balance due must be paid in cash, by money order or certified check at the beginning of your hunt.

Colored Clothing; Wyoming law requires you to wear at least one garment of blaze orange. A hat or cap is satisfactory.

Insuring Gear; You may wish to insure items of value, such as your rifle and field glasses. We accept no responsibility for damage or loss of personal items. Contact your personal insurance agent before your hunting trip.

After Filling Tags; You may be asked to stay in camp once your tag is filled. This gives the other hunters a better chance and lets the stock rest. It is illegal to carry firearms once your tag is filled.

Game Processing; The cost to cut, wrap and freeze your game is approximately 50 cents per pound. Dry ice and shipping cartons are available at extra cost. Most meat can be shipped air freight or as excess baggage, but check with your airline beforehand for complete information.

Emergency Evacuation; In the case of an emergency, there is helicopter evacuation available at your expense.
